Cousin John’s Cafe & Bakery
(on 7th Avenue betwen Lincoln & Berkely Places in Park Slope)
Do you know what today is? Today is Project Neon’s birthday! To celebrate, let’s all have cake! Also, I’m going to revisit one of the places I photographed on the first night of the project later today (though unfortunately they don’t have cake there.)
I was going to write a post about my visit a few days ago to the Upper West Side, but I think I’ll save it for the talk on Monday evening. Will you be there? But in the mean time, I’ll leave you with this:
(If you can’t see the animation, look here.)
PS: Do any of you know how to make full-color GIFs? I know it’s possible, but I can’t find a program or Photoshop plug-in to do it. Any suggestions?
The NYC Neon ABCs
(Available on Kickstarter until 11pm on Monday May 30th for a $65 pledge)
Don’t forget tonight is the birthday & neon meetup at The Subway Inn, 6-9p or so. If you’re in NYC stop by!
This poster (like the Neon 100 poster) identifies the businesses & neighborhoods where the signs pictured are found. Can you spot the letter from the Subway Inn?
